Hey all,

I haven't done too much as of lately because I've been busy teaching myself MPD and PyGTK to write myself a client because after removing GNOME along with everything that required it (including Rhythmbox), I needed a decent media player :) Now that's pretty much done (all it needs is scrobbler support), here's my newest desklet, funnily enough based on MPD now I know how to work the library. Plus for basic stuff like this it's a piece of cake.

Sylvain, I haven't submitted it because I'm dumb and am trying to workout how to setup sendmail/exim. I will once I make it work so adesklets_submit will work :)

That looks nice, cs-cam. By the way, you do not absolutely require to install a fully-fledged MTA: you could as well paste the message into your favorite mail client (just take care not to change the content with artifical line breaks, or similar artefacts), or put in place a simple relay-only MTA, such as ssmtp: those are normally just a matter of minutes to entirely set up. I just chose exim because a long time ago I had it running nicely on Gentoo as the mail server for a couple of Windows boxes. I was into web development at the time, seems to be over my head though now :(

That was a quick reply though! I will install ssmtp now and see if I can get a couple of desklets officially submitted :)

Heh ssmtp is pretty easy :) Submitted two, the thumbs and screenshots are pretty average quality, I have my desktop at 1400x1050 and scaling down to fit size constraints has taken it's toll. It's still acceptable quality though.

Yup, sure will be. Sylvain is away at the moment and I need to wait for him to get back before it's added. Thanks for the feedback though :) If you have any suggestions or ideas let me know!
