I am currently using Fedora Core 3 and running gdm. I am quite new to desktop stuff.. very outdated lol.

Can any expert desktop users tell or teach me where to get cool desklets on the above mentioned 2 screenshots?

If i can use the above 2 desklets then can i add a calender to it?

I am only 90% sure, but these look like purely gDesklets-powered desktops. They have a wide variety of displays available (including calendars), so I won't enumerate here what was used in these screenshots: go on their site and pick what you like! ;-) Yours,
