Hello,
I have an idea...
to make an organizer
How should it look like?
- periods (from 11'th to 16'th - abroad, mondays from 8:00 am to 1:00pm in the school)
- repeating events (like birthdays, holidays)
- single events (meetings, exams)
All of them should be done on a daily or hourly basis (see periods).

Now the questions.
1. How should be the data written (XML?), are there some standards (compatible with other programs)?
I've looked into Calendar.py, there is a XML implementation, but I haven't tested it.
2. A desklet is the one side of the medal. To add events, there should be an editor. GTK or QT? Integrated to the desklet or standalone?
3. What are you thinking about this?

About standards:
I am not a specialist, but there is a IETF RFC (RFC 2445) often referred as "iCalendar" or "iCal" that is supported by most calendar applications these days; you will find online many DTDs and RDF schemas floating around... There is even a iCal module for Python, but I never tried it.
About editor & tool-kits:
Definitively, a standalone editor is better: desklets window do not have the necessary input focus behavior to satisfy most tool-kits anyway. As for what toolkit should be used, it really is a matter of tastes. In the context of adesklets, Tk would be my first choice (lowest possible requirements, homogeneous - yet drab - look). Supporting multiple interfaces (see adesklets_installer) is always a possibility as well.
General thoughts:
Well, I think that a standard-compatible schedule notifier/reminder would be a very nice addition to adesklets' desklet collection; as for the editor, I am not that sure, unless it is for self-teaching purposes, since a few good open-source editors already exist, such as Mozilla Calendar.
