Thanks for notifying me -- I confirm there is a check-sum mismatch; I recall testing all check-sums initially, so the file content probably changed since publication, which is abnormal... I just asked Cameron Daniel (deskicon author) about it, and I will wait for his answer before rectifying this in the atom feed; I will let you know when it's done.

Thanks for your help!

I should mention that I'm using 'adesklets' from Debian repository, so it is not the last-minute version but 0.5.0-2

Which version of adesklets you use has no impact here: it is not a bug with the installer, it's a feature ;-): since desklets authors are allowed to host their own work, check-sums are computed on all officially accepted desklets, so that people using the installer do know they are downloading a piece of code that was properly reviewed by peers (well, at least by me), and not something corrupted or tampered with: what happens here is that the deskicon 0.0.5 archive hosted on camdaniel.com seems to differ from the one I reviewed last November (or that I simply ill-computed the check-sum).

I already got feedback from Cameron, and it seems like it's my bad... I reread the code, and just committed a new sum; everything should work now. Yours,
