Wallet Photo.
I am headed out to PyCon tomorrow, my first work-week travel
away from my wife since I left IBM back in 2000, so I got to
thinking that I might write a simple little "wallet photo"
desklet to give me something to do in the evenings/plane
ride.
I'm thinking it would simply display a scaled-down image plus
a caption, and be able to rotate through a series of images
either on a time-delay and/or a manual mouse click.
Anyone have any other thoughts/suggestions? If not I'll
probably start on it tomorrow night either on the plane or
once I get settled in.

Some
exif
support would also be nice, but only if you have too much
time to kill. :-)
And do not forget the appropriate call to the
window_set_background_grab command if
you do not make use of backgrounds.
