0.4.6? As you saw, there is something to be done, but I am
not a KDE user myself, so it is difficult due to the
installation burden to do anything myself about it... So If
you have time and know a little C, you are welcome to
implement this... It should not be a big task for someone
with the proper software in place.
This said, I plan working out a more generic window creation
mechanism more compliant with the
ICCCM, and I plan to
provide it as an option at configuration time -- With a
little luck, it should make your concern disappear. This is a
big struggle because various windows managers have various
level of support of the ICCCM, and I just dislike writting
"special case code", especially when standards exist. I
expect having the time to do it right in a two months time
frame from now, as it is not really a priority.
